Hoi An Creative Space Creative Camp

With the theme “Architecture-Craft Villages and Heritage”, the Hoi An Creative Space Camp 2023 opened at Thanh Ha Terracotta Park with the participation of nearly 30 architects and artists from all over the country.

Part of the series of events Creative Camp - Craft Village Flowers - Startup Market. Continuing the activities of "Art and Creativity Road", thereby introducing the culture and art of traditional craft villages, the diversity of cultural expressions of the land rich in creative potential, developing creative ideas in the community. Towards Hoi An to join the UNESCO global network of creative cities.

Participating in the creative camp are veteran architects with sketching skills, plus experiences of the exchange atmosphere at the creative camp, approaching the architecture of the Heritage City, the daily life of traditional craft villages. Thereby feeling the spirit of the place through sketches on many materials such as paper, canvas, red ceramics, rammed wood.... Making installation works on the story of Hoi An, about craft villages with local materials - Concerns about opposites: noise and peace, harmony and subjectivity, tourism development and preserving the traditional values of the villages.
